Well, here it is folks. The house of my dreams. At least it was so last night. With Steve working away with repairs and caulk and paint while I type notes today, I was reminded of my dream (nightmare) that I had last night. I can't imagine where it came from!! He is definitely getting this old house in "ready to sell" condition. It doesn't exactly take a degree on the wall to see this one coming...the thought of moving from a house I've lived in since Steve and I've been married (17 years) is daunting for sure! I dreamed that it was going to look a lot like the one in this photo with no heat/air and nothing but one big room and we were surely going to starve to death. As a side note, Steve just came by the computer and I showed him this photo I was using on my blog today. His only question..."does it have acreage?" Oh brother. That is his dream to live out where we have some room to stretch out a bit without evil dog living next door and constantly hearing our neighbors music and everything else for that matter. I grew up in the country and swore I would never move back to it. I don't know. If the road is paved and he keeps the snakes cleared out for me, then it is a possibility. I don't know. There are pros and cons. I keep telling myself that change is good. My friend Connie has moved more times than I can count since I've known her. I think she does it as a way to clean out her attic and closets. Can you just imagine what mine will be like???? Seventeen years worth???? And we are such packrats!!!!! It will take an army of men and women to go through it all. Heavens.
I can't imagine why I was having a dream like that one last night, can you?

I see a riding lawn mower in your future!
Heaven help us all---just when I thought my days on a riding lawn mower were behind me! It may be time for grandchildren that like to mow grannies' lawn!!!
