Is it really only Thursday?

Today was one of those days where everything you intended to happen got spun out of control and went south. Greg is home so there was some work to be done on his car to get his driver side window to work again...it's a real bummer to go through a drive-thru window and have to get out of your car all of the time. My schedule was pretty full and he had a dental appointment this afternoon. We had to juggle and juggle again to get everyone where they needed to be when they needed to be there. It was also my day to dash off to the clinic for intakes at 3:00 and then back to the school for two families for therapy. Normally, this is not a problem.
The craziest part was when I had finished at the clinic and needed Steve to be there to pick me up and let me drop him off at home while I took the XTerra back to Northside for two last family therapy sessions. He misunderstood and went to the school to wait on me and couldn't figure out why I wasn't there! Thank goodness for cell phones to clear that up, as he was carrying on a conversation with my next client that had arrived by then!! Run run run, race here and there...be calm and together because I AM THE THERAPIST!!! Whoa boy. I felt almost too tired to even convince myself of that!
So after total craziness and finding myself spinning in circles, I made my way home....took a deep breath and decided to take my two men in my life out for dinner. It was so nice to sit and relax and go "ahhhhh".
Every now and then in this life we need to sit and go "ahhh." If we don't, then it all seems to catch up with us and hit us over the head!
