New housing for all

On Sunday afternoon, we decided to make a trip up to Fayetteville and Rogers to visit Greg's new apartment and Mary Beth and Jon's new home. We invited (yes we did the inviting, Glo) their Aunt Glo to come along and join us for dinner. We all had a great time and had lots of laughs with stories about house hunting, room-mates/neighbors and dogs.

My two favorite guys on the staircase going up to Greg's "master suite" which consists of a huge room, huge walk in closet and a huge bathroom with a whirlpool tub. Now something is wrong folks when the kids start living in places bigger and nicer than their parents!!! But we are working hard to catch them!

Greg takes a practice bath in his jacuzzi tub. He is spoiled already...but we know that, don't we?

Steve checks out the view from Greg's bedroom. Mary Beth says we HAVE to do something with his bedding!

He has so much room in this closet that he's hanging up his white undershirts. No joke.

A view of the living room from upstairs where his bedroom is, along with Scott's and John's bedrooms.

Then we all piled into "Baby" and made our way up to Rogers. My Garmin wasn't updated so we were using Glo's through her phone until she got a phone call and it locked up! Called Jon and he got us turned around. Mary Beth is now 5 minutes from work.

We gave Jon a hard time about the golf cart in their garage. A couple that they hang out with lives less than a mile away so they are sharing this to make visits easier.

The kitchen in their new house. Lovely!

Here's the fireplace. She already has a new paint color picked out and plans for this room.

They moved their bed into what will be the guest room. They plan to get another bed for their master bedroom.

Here's an interesting piece of artwork that Monica, a friend of Mary Beth's from school, painted as a wedding gift. Very cool.
Everyone sitting around and laughing....great scene for sure.

When it was time to go out to eat, Mary Beth called "Goose" to his pen and he took off for it because he knew he was getting a treat. The other lab is named "Maverick" so you can guess what Jon's favorite movie of all time would be! Goose looked so cute and funny here.

We went back to Greg's to show Jon and Mary Beth and Glo so the photos seem out of order. Here's an outside view. Talk about a bachelor pad!! He said he just needs a red robe and slippers...most likely with "Staff" monogrammed on them instead of "Hef."

Jon and Greg check out some of the boxing gloves Scott brought. Look at the 80 gallon water heater that they have! No problems running out that way!

Mary Beth taking Jon on a tour of Greg's organized closet.

Mary Beth with her little "bru-tha." Little???

On the way home, we were in such a good mood that Steve even rode all the way back to Fort Smith with the convertible top down. Can you believe it?
Glo and I were amazed that our kids have gone from treehouses, forts and Barbie houses to such really grownup stuff. We really aren't sure when or how this alien abduction occurred. These can't be our babies all grown up. Did the aliens abduct ours and swap them out?
We just know they did.

STEVE! When did you enter the time machine and suddenly become 30 again? haha!

Does Greg have a fireplace like Mary Beth does? If so, I have two words for them: NOT FAIR.
