Saturday morning Steve and I fought through the torrential downpour of rain to drive to Cabot and later Little Rock to the Razorback Game. We picked up Connie and her brother, Mark (and his wife Suzy) and the five of us went to the game together. The tickets were a birthday gift for me from Connie. We ended up riding in their mother's car, otherwise known as the "land yacht"...we managed to get the magnets and flags on it to look like real fans! Believe me, we got some interesting looks on the trip into Little Rock.
Steve and Mark pose in front of the staggering multitude of tents and cars from the fans in Little Rock. It was a different atmosphere without the college fans that are typically found in Fayetteville. We DID discover that the fans in LR are P-I-G pigs ---for real! I have never seen the trash and beer cans thrown around and piled up in an area after the game. How hard is it to bring a trash bag and pitch your stuff in there? It really did not speak well for the fans there.
