Miracle of all miracles, you might say. We are finally at our new "home" for the next few weeks. We closed on the house deal today and will wait patiently until Monday to find out if the house we want to buy is going to work out or not....and that will not close until October 30th.
So, Steve, Connie and I got busy and found this great situation at the Marriott Residence Inn for long-term stays. Below you can see the photos and it is really very nice. We are (I should say I am!) really excited to be here.
After sleeping the last two nights on an air mattress, that bed looks mighty inviting. Is tomorrow really Friday? Can't believe we have been moving all week. We are now on our 4th storage unit. The guy told Steve that the record for a full house is six....we may make 5 tomorrow but not 6. We only have a small part of the garage to get tomorrow. Tonight we took all of the plants ( good heavens....what was I thinking?), our grill and outdoor furniture over to Connie's house until we move again. She is also keeping our freezer and two refrigerators, the lawn mower, the two bird baths, the washer/dryer, the water fountain for the patio and bench. She thinks she might be up for Yard of the Month!
Going to bed now to sleep...may sleep through tomorrow.....on a real bed.
