It's 4am and I really should be doing paperwork

Zoie sits right by my laptop watching my every move as if to say
"can you not do this during regular business hours????"

Not that we haven't already thoroughly covered the topic about my procrastination in previous blogs, but I wanted to remind you about it once again. I'm sitting here trying to wake up over a bowl of Cheerios (multi-grain that Rachel got me hooked on) and staring at the screen hoping to get inspired into speed typing and composing of notes that I have written somewhat hasty, sketchy notes. ugh. I spent hours last night finishing up some intakes and getting the collateral (classroom teacher contacts) notes that were somewhat hasty and sketchy organized. Does this mean my life has become somewhat hasty and sketchy? I think so. I do, however admit that I only procrastinate on this thing these days because I hate the paperwork so much. I make the important stuff happen with my work. And that makes me feel so good. Yesterday, I had a real "aha" moment when I feel like I made a new diagnosis on a kid that has puzzled a lot of people for a while. If I am correct, and I think I am, then this treatment could really improve his quality of life....which recently has been pretty bad. So, there are some real upsides to this job.
There have been upsides for me lately too. We are in the beginning stages of planning a vacation for the end of the school year. That's hopeful and exciting! I have started playing the piano again. I don't really know what prompted it, but I have been. Maybe it was the fear that I would forget how to. I have now been to the fitness center for two weeks straight....daily. I am not a fan, but I'm really trying to stick to it this time without cheating on the healthy food thing too. We will see. I have started going through tubs from the storage unit we have to start "decluttering" our life a bit and having a huge garage sale - maybe in time to help with the vacation!
Well, the cereal is gone now so that is my sign to get busy. I can probably get a couple of days worth of notes done before going to my first of two staffings for the day. ugh again.

I am STILL not a morning person...only when getting paid! And yes, Greg, this means we have to get that piano tuned-whew! I was excited to get a photo of Zoie without red evil eyes cause she's such a sweet kitty and all...everyone knows that!
