Rachel at age 2 in Wynne
Mary Beth and I are leaving early in the morning to pick Rachel up from XNA as she hopefully flies in from New Hampshire. I don't think I will be able to sleep a wink tonight. The gifts are wrapped, the pretzels are dipped, the house is clean and the laundry is done.....and my heart is about to burst with excitement. For real, people. I've had the music blaring for days in my car and in the house, but I think it will finally take on new meaning tomorrow as I sing to the top of my lungs on the drive up the mountain to the airport. The thought of having the three (now four) of them all together for whatever time we get to squeeze together makes me so happy. I will take a million pictures, which they all complain about but love and I will get teary at every little sweet thing that they do for each other and for us and the expect that as well....and Rachel and I will both work very hard to not cry again on Sunday when the airport takes her back to New England to a place and a guy she loves. Tomorrow just can't get here soon enough.
Mr. Christmas....you may officially begin doing your thing.

Love the post! I love the Christmas card you sent too and what a great idea to send the letter. I should do that. :) I was looking through pictures last night from Chaffin and I found one of us in drill team and mary beth is sitting up on top of the lockers thinking, "One day I'll be doing this." It's hysterical. I'll scan it and email it to you when I get back home.
Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas! Lots of love!
